Hi so my situation just got complicated. I was going through an early process of reclassing to a different mos from an 11B. However, the jobs I wanted were either unavailable or not qualified enough for. My retention NCO did come up with a different job offer but it's one of the hardest and longest AIT schools in the army. I texted him the next morning and told him I'd like to further research and see if this is actually what I want to do before signing anything. He claimed he had a family emergency come up and gave me the number to the retention officer above him. Called her and told her my final decision that I decided not to re-enlist and get out via SFL Tab. Now I just got told by my squad leader that I got orders to report to that AIT when I haven't even signed anything or had the ceremony

Well, if those orders do exist, this is an easy fix. Since you didn't sign reenlistment papers, just go check with your S1 to verify if the orders are there or not. If they are, request a deletion of orders since you'll be ETSing and not reenlisting.

The longest and hardest AIT in the Army is the 35T AIT, and let me tell you, they graduate between 7-11 individuals per class. But if you make it through, the bonuses are insane.
