Good R.E.D. Friday Afternoon to you all my Brothers and Sisters in arms!!! I am very honored, proud, and excited, to “SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF YOU” that our good friend, @MAJ Dale E. Wilson (Ph.D.) has just reached and has Crossed over the 16-million-point threshold and has now exceeded 17-Million Influence Point and has currently 17,012,280 Influence Points on RP!!! When one looks at the Leader Board and looks at Brother Dales’ level of participation, it is at an awesome pace, and He interacts with others on a daily basis!

Here is something that you might not know about Dale: He was born and raised in Pasadena, CA, and spent his high school years in Reno, NV, before enlisting in the army in 1969. Dale served for more than 9 years before going to OCS and being commissioned in the Armor Branch. Here is the kicker! His Career was being selected to teach at West Point after attending fully funded grad school. He not only received Masters degree but completed His Doctorate Ph.D. in History as well!!!

At West Point, Dale Taught a two-semester course History of the Military Art. Served as course director of HI351, honors History of the Military Art (from antiquity to WWI). Served as a faculty adviser to history majors and as an asst. coach on the Army crew team. Served as deputy director and director of the annual USMA-ROTC Military History Fellowship (1989-1990), a four-week postdoctoral fellowship for college professors tasked with teaching their school's ROTC military history course. The focus was to prepare profs to teach operational military history as opposed to war and society. Received the 1991 Academic Excellence Award (based on student, peer and supervisor evaluations).

Brother Dale has contributed a huge resume of interesting posts, including many of Historical origin, some light, some heavy at times, but always interesting, which provides each of us with something positive, lively and friendly… He also provides good advice to everyone and has fun doing it! I have come to know Dale quite well and like his style…
