Do you have a Wall Display for your military service?
My son put this one together for me a few years ago. It is in my home office and gets a lot of comments during family gatherings and parties.

Very nice, 1SG(P) Dean Mcbride (MPER) (SPHR)! Like SGT Philip Roncari, I have a wall display, but nothing quite so elaborate as yours! I put one together for my father (U.S. Navy, WWII) and I placed it on the wall with mine after he passed away.

Great memory of your father! I need to check to see if my son has one on his wall. He is a West Point Grad... He did a tour with the 173rd Abn in Afghanistan and served a total of 6 years before getting out to go to law school.

By the way... My 21 year old Grandson is enlisting in January as a 35N -- Signals Intelligence Analyst.... After two years college studying Cyber Security at Rochester Institute of Technology, he decided to go the military way... He hopes to transition from enlisted to Warrant Officer. Before I ride off into the sunset, I may need to get three wall plaques mounted together!

Congratulations, 1SG(P) Dean Mcbride (MPER) (SPHR)! I’m thinking that maybe his grandfather had something to do with his decision!

They serve as a reminder to us! As we get older, the memory starts to fade... I find myself occasionaly checking on dates for the units I served with in Vietnam.
