My Gosh, I haven't thought about playing marbles in sixty some years! I used to love them. I haven't even seen a marble in two decades...or more. Might have to get a present for the Grandkids so I can play.

Absolutely! Only I was in kindergarten when I started to lose mine so I quit taking them to school.

Talk about the Rabbit Hole...I had no clue there is a thriving collector market for marbles. I didn't know there are more than a dozen names for the big marble (which we called a "Shooter"). Nor did I know a Factory in Mexico makes 90% of all the marbles in the world. Nor did I know there are more than twenty names for different colored marbles. With yellow mica, the rarest. The History of Marbles...who knew?
