I mentioned Deer Season to a friend the other day, we were in Walmart, and this lady went off on me about killing Bambi.
I don't hunt for horns, they are way too tough to eat, I hunt for the meat, my wife fixes excellent venison roasts along with summer sausage we put up ourselves.
Second, I don't even kill a yearling, you can tell by their size they are not fully grown.
Anyway I remembered this Meme and almost said it to her, but let her blow off and walk away.

MSgt Dale Johnson If that woman was starving and needed food she would most likely kill Bambi! Survival is a strong instinct.

A friend of mine's wife was an avid Non-Hunting type, but she didn't know I was a hunter though her husband did. Anyway they came over to the house one Saturday afternoon and my wife had a Venison Roast in the Slow Cooker with Carrots, Potatoes, and Celery. Mike mentioned it really smelled good and she quickly agreed so my Wife asked if they wanted to stay and that there was plenty.
His wife said "Absolutely" she hadn't smelled a Roast like that since they were at her Mother's last year (we were in at Columbus AFB in MS and they were from NC).
He asked me if it was Venison and I told him yes, he said "What ever you do don't tell Molly, his wife." So I hurried in and told my wife not to say it was Venison also.
After supper she claimed it was the BEST Roast she had ever eaten, even better than her mother's.
I told her it must be in using the slow cooker.

MSgt Dale Johnson - LOL! That's funny as hell. I like venison. I grew up hunting and eating what we killed then attempting to do taxidermy on the skins!

Oh for crying out loud...
Natural point of aim
Natural pause of breath
Proper bone support
Squeeze vs jerk the trigger (also using the same part of the finger for consistency)
High and firm pistol grip
Stock firmly planted high into the shoulder for a proper cheek weld
