He Was A Chief Master Sargent And A Survivor Of The "Bataan Death March" During WWII ~ In The Philippines ~ A Man's MAN, And A Fantastic Person As Well

A few years back, a couple of guys were shooting cans off the other's head and one wasn't a good shot and shot the guy in the head. (Guess where I live). This, of course, was the result of a large consumption of alcohol. When I read the story in the Newspaper, that statement was how I envisioned the event going down. "Hey, Y'all, hold my beer and Watch this". Bam!! "Damn, my bad, Vern".

When We Were Kids ~7 - 9 or So, And Lived In The Community Of Millbrook , Michigan;
We'd Go Into The Woods ~ About 1/4 Mile Down The Road And Across The RR Tracks,
Run Into The Woods With Our Red Ryder BB Guns, And Blast Away At Each Other.
Oddly Enough, We Got Stung A LOT, But Nobody Ever Was Seriously Injured.
BUT, As An Adult, I Did Have A Bow-Hunting Buddy, Ray Ritter, Whom Lost An Eye Because They Were Using Sling Shots Loaded With Corn Kernels & He Was Hit In His Left Eye. ~Ray Was A Dentist And He Sad: "It Really Screws-Up My Depth Perception, And It's A Real Bitch When I'm Trying To Drill A Molar And Have To Feel The Tooth To Figure-out Where I'm Working". LOL... OOPS?

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney that's not good LOL even when I played Paintball in the woods with The Guys, I made sure to wear goggles..most of all neck protection. The Guys always forgot to wear cups. LOL they would shoot each other in that "particular area" to check when they arrived, without warning. Men and their ongoing crazy games, I believe the movie "TAGGED" was an extremely accurate in capturing this brotherly love.
