Yep. Looks like my dog tags... but let us always remember the guys who wore the notched dog tags. THE GREATEST GENERATION. I'm proud to say that my dad was one of those who helped prevent us from speaking Deutsche!!!

Outstanding! I participated in my VFW post's annual Veterans Day ceremony. The commander came up to me right before it started and asked me to fill in for the bugler to play Taps! I thought he was kidding! I don't play the trumpet or bugle or anything, really. Not to worry, e said, "Just press the button." What? It was a real bugle, fitted with an electronic, battery powered recording of Taps! All I had to do was press the button and pretend to play Taps. I pulled it off! Hooah!
