The Marine Corps F-35C Lightning II aircraft debuted its combat airstrike capabilities for the first time earlier this month when it targeted weapon storage facilities in Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen, the Navy confirmed in a press release on Wednesday.
The Pentagon previously said that the F-35C launched from the USS Abraham Lincoln in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility over a week ago. CENTCOM also posted a video of the fifth-generation aircraft taking off from the aircraft carrier.

From the article, "It is no known what type of arms were used by the F-35s."
Who cares as long as they turned a shitload of Houthis and their munitions into teeny tiny bits.

Great the took off and landed. … but did they hit the target? And why are we attacking with individual fighters … this should be a B52 Arc Light!

Not that I was even closer than 25 miles to a B52 airstrike but when they were making them in Vietnam the ground even shook where I was. Seems each b52 can destroy a ten mile long patch a quarter mile wide on one pass. Pretty hard to match that. how about also the 15,000 lb Daisy Cutter cluster bomb also used in Vietnam ! Nothing was going to walk out alive in that target area !
