That song came out when my folks had a bar and cafe on Clear Lake, CA. It had to be replaced on the jukebox because the first one wore out. I liked the song, but it got really old after a while. But it was still good at the school sock-hops. We called songs like that "Belly rubbing, lip sucking music."
