The effort made by the Marines to test so many Marines in different environments was all for naught.
Politics and Vociferous voices are the real authority on everything!

This is silly.
1. We have seen so many times in the GWOT service-members (men and women) rise to the occasion when confronted with realities of war and asymmetric conflict.
2. ThT said the military has tried to be more gender inclusive, and it has its bumps and learning curves. We said the same thing of African Americans in combat during the world wars as we say of women now. They proved the military wrong in blood.
3. I will not argue about standards and Q courses and such because we can debate that all day. Women have become firefighters, police, paramedics (all considerably more dangerous on a day to day basis outside a deployed setting) so who’s to say that if they can shoot and chase bad guys at home they can’t do it for the military? Cats out of the bag so just carry on and adjust fire.
