My unit is deploying to Jordan soon and some people in my platoon were arguing if Jordan was one of the countries to get taken off the list as a combat zone, and it got me curious. Does anyone know if you still get a patch for deploying there as of 2018?

If you are a military member who serves in a combat zone you can exclude certain pay from your income when figuring your taxes.

SGT Philip Roncari - Pretty sure he was being sarcastic since you can get a "combat patch" for pretty much just being in the neighborhood.
