I would luv to see before and after pictures Brother Dale. It's kinda hard to imagine that someone would show up like this who actually joined the service as opposed to getting drafted. If they can still give them nicknames, oh boy!!

When I got to Fort Ord for basic in Feb 1972, as we all got off the bus, and stood on the line for formation.
The DI's stared at all the long haired guys, and smiled, it was asked, "Are you here for the beauty contest?". Lol
