I think they should be allowed to have tattoos asong as they are not visible.What do you think we should do?

Problem is that essentially leaves the area around the genitals as the only never visible part of the skin in the life of a typical Servicemember. You’re in a constant state of undress to low dress… showers, pt gear, etc
Im of an age where what it once was is no more so it means nothing anymore. That said all that face and neck and hands all covered stuff…I’ll never get used to that.

Some of the services are considering relaxing their policies regarding tattoos. because of recruiting shortfalls.

IMHO tattoos have gotten totally out of control. I understand the need to adjust standards to accommodate cultural change; although I hold the Military to higher standards. I think the fact most potential recruits cannot pass the ASVAB or the weight standards has more of an impact on Military Readiness than tattoos...just my two cents COL (Join to see)
