Did you know that Hitler had a few words to say to Field Grade Officers who took ILE/CGSOC? What do you think RP?
The movie "Downfall" about the last days of Hitler in his bunker in 1945 is an awesome movie. Youtube has over 86 different spoofs of this movie tailored to all kinds of topics. Our class was shown one tailored toward CGSOC/ILE. For you enlisted and non-military, there are other spoofs as well you can check out on Youtube.

I realize this is a spoof. The megalomaniac Adolph Hitler was both psychotic and brilliant and did his best to organize a support structure which was kept busier at competing with each other than so they wouldn't be able to group together to overthrow him.
The German military General Staff system like very other aspect of Hitler's command and control and state security structure was a labyrinth LTC (Join to see)
1. Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW) or Headquarter Supreme for all the Armed Forces of Germany controlled by Hitler through the General Wilhelm Bodewin Johann Gustav Keitel and General Alfred Josef Ferdinand Jodl led the operations against all the fronts except in East Front.
2. Oberkommando der Heeres (OKH) or German Army High Command), namely the army commander in chief Walther von Brauchitsch and the army general staff chief Franz Halder
3. Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (OKL) Air Force High Command led by Reich minister and supreme commander of the Luftwaffe German: Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe Hermann Göring.
4. (OKM) Naval High Command commanded by Grossadmiral Erich Raeder (1 June 1935–30 January 1943) (previously Commander-in-Chief of the Reichsmarine from October 1928); Grossadmiral Karl Dönitz (30 January 1943–1 May 1945); Generaladmiral Hans-Georg von Friedeburg (1–23 May 1945); and Generaladmiral Walter Warzecha (23 May–22 June 1945)

Thanks, LTC Stephen F. , for explaining the workings of Hilter's Archaic C2 system back then.
I thought it was funny that Hitler, during the scolding of the Staff for not using the right decision making process was Jealous he never took the course himself. LOL
