Some unusual Giant-thinking this AM : There were Giants on the Earth...before AND after the Great Flood......

The word “giants“ in the Old Testament passages was translated from the Hebrew word meaning “Nephilim”, which meant “giants, bully, tyrant, progeny of the Fallen Angels, ie the ‘sons of God.’” The giants existed on the Earth before the Great Flood (GENESIS 6, pg. 1) and also after the flood. The giants corrupted all “flesh,” even the animals. They were unredeemable, perverse and cannibals.

It’s been said by some theologians that their height ranged in the 17-20+ foot range. But the Book of Enoch (an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah) says the giants were “3,000 ells”, an ancient measurement, which puts them at a more astounding height.

Around 1400 BC, at least a thousand years after the Flood, the Hebrews were told by God to conquer the land of Canaan (current Israel). However, they were terrified of the “sons of Anak,” relatives of the giants, (NUMBERS 13, pg 2.) and refused to go against them when God commanded them to (NUMBERS 14). Thus, that generation was punished by God and made to live out their lives in the desert, never entering the Promised land (Numbers 14:22-23). The 2 exceptions were faithful Caleb and Joshua (vs 24,30) who would live long and vigorously to lead those Israelites‘ children in to Canaan, conquer the giants and acquire the land God wanted them to have. 40 years later.

“Interesting story“ some would say. “What does that have to do with us?”

1.) Note, if anyone believes it, that the Bible continually shows there’s consequences for not acting when and how God tells you to act. Conversely, there’s always rewards from the Lord when you obey. Even if you try.

4.) Advanced Technology increases by the minute. The sky’s the limit for scientists, geneticists, eugenicists, synthetic biologists, etc. Funding is no problem. Be ready for the unbelievable.
