Henry Ford, the first American recipient of the Grand Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle from Adolf Hitler, hated waste but he loved lean. Lean manufacturing is rooted on the assembly lines of Henry Ford. Henry Ford drove himself – and his employees – to correct operational inefficiencies while also creating better products that contribute to our current National Security Space (NSS) program.
