There is nothing "commonsense" related to attempting to outlaw legally held firearms by executive order. The 2nd Amendment confirms a "God given right" (even if you don't believe in God) it does not grant the right. Who are these brave souls that will lay their lives on the line to commit an unconstitutional act? Many people will resist a violation of the US Constitution. I wouldn't want to be the person that knocks on the door in an attempt to enforce this order.

Just means we (our states) will have to sue and put the issue back into the hands of the SCOTUS

If they would enforce the thousands of current laws before adding new laws that will make criminals of law abiding citizens, that would be "common sense."
