Waukegan Police Call Off 'Exhaustive' Search For Missing US Navy Sailor: 'We've Hit Everything We...

Following two days of "extensive" searching, the Waukegan Police Department on Friday afternoon announced that it was ending its search efforts for missing United States Navy servicemember Séamus Gray, 21, who was last seen around 2 a.m. Saturday leaving a nightclub in Waukegan.

"After extensive search, exhausting all our efforts, we were unable to locate him," Cmdr. Scott Chastain said, adding that several neighboring police and fire departments, as well as more than 100 Navy personnel had joined the search efforts. "Right now we're ending our search effort. ... We've hit everything we can on land, in the air, and along the coast."
