She doesn't like the question, she says next question...avoids and defers.

That is her way. I think she is so afraid of getting hit on a subject she throws out this nonsensical jabber so she can not be pinned down. She got beat up pretty badly over her opinions 4 years ago on the campaign trail and doesn't want a repeat.
