Thanks for letting us know TSgt Joe C. that on April 1, 1986 the Villanova Wildcats from Pennsylvania beat the Washington, DC hometown Georgetown Hoyas, 66-64, to win the NCAA Men’s Division I tournament. The victory was Villanova’s first-ever national championship.
