It is really mind boggling that, on one hand, the VA extends the period to apply for benefits and acknowledges the right of vets to apply, while on the other hand makes such an effort to deny claims at such a high rate. Something is not quite right here and should be corrected by someone.

Challenge accepted, Today, In matters of personal healthcare, a prudent course of action for Veteran's experiencing health related challenges potentially attributable to Persian Gulf Service, participate in a Gulf War Registry Health Exam, press one's Primary Care Physician for a WRIISC consultation, and participate in ongoing Gulf War clinical research trials and studies.

That is great news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the VA has automatically presumed a connection from Gulf War service with Gulf War illness and has extended the deadline for veterans seeking coverage and treatment for Gulf War illness benefits to 2021.
