US Increases Scrutiny Over Chinese Land Purchases Near Military Bases

Gee, betterlate than never. This is just another tell that the Biden's have sold out to the Chinese. There's no way in a republican administration this would have happened.

I own a large number of shares in Blackstone (not Blackrock) which owns Hotel del Coronado in San Diego Bay. The Chinese made a significant bid for it and Blackstone refused the offer. The Hotel would have given the Chinese an excellent vantage point from which to spy on activities at the US naval installations there. Too bad not all property owners are this responsible.

They shouldn't have been allowed to buy any of our land in the first place.
