US Army moves 2,500 tanks, trucks and military vehicles into Europe in biggest troop transfer...

Turns out this is the US Army’s 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team which arrived at Bremerhaven, a port city in northern Germany on Saturday.

I remember an article in about the 2010 timeframe about the last U.S. Army tanks leaving Europe.  When I was stationed in W Germany in the early 80s with 1st ID (Fwd), there were 500,000 U.S. Military in country.  VII Corps Artillery was 30 FA Battalions strong but we were outnumbered in artillery tubes 23 to 1 by the Warsaw Pact.
