Maj Kim Patterson Oh bravo. You mean the descendants of people who migrated here thousands of years ago?
If we are a nation of men instead of a nation of laws, this experiment is done. Right now, we have an Ostrich on office and he's made us a nation of men.

Maj Kim Patterson There are millions of Americans who came here legally or are descended from those who did. A very VERY small fraction of those are Native American.
European colonization of America. For the most part, followed the same basic pattern:
1) send exploratory party
2) establish foothold through treaty with locals
3) expand foothold through purchase of land
3a) occasionally expand foothold through right of conquest
4) populate land
5) return to step 1 and push westward.
We established , acquired, built, and populated this land LEGALLY according to the laws of the time. While "right of conquest" is no longer an acceptable form of land acquisition, during the 17th and 18th and early 19th centuries, it was.
Once the land was acquired, we set laws in place about who could come, and when. Those who came according to those laws were here legally. Those who did not.... were not.
It really is not that difficult of a concept.

... but, but, but.....
We aren't spending any tax dollars in the illegals. That is what I keep being told. We don't spend money on them, and they pay taxes in. They are a net gain in tax revenue.
