Don't understand signing statement "Constitutionally flawed"? That's sort of an admission of sorts, maybe? He just needs to choose his words better sometimes, because he's giving the nit-picking media lots of material. They've already got their Imagineering hats on in plain view.

"Seriously flawed"? Of course he would say that about a bi-partisan bill that even the GOP overwhelmingly supported. Interesting how GOP leaders insist Russian interference is a red herring yet were fully behind the sanctions bill. What does that tell us?

Asking for your speculation here. What would the media's reaction have been if he would have vetoed it?

MAJ Bryan Zeski
They would have been ecstatic. It would have been another clue into the Russian-connection. AND then it would have been overturned in Congress, thereby solidifying the President's lack of power. It would have been a two-fer for the media. The sanctions bills, especially with how easily it went through Congress, was a lose-lose for the President.
