Elizabeth Warren shouldn't have made up a minority status to help secure employment at Harvard if she didn't want to br called out on it. Trump didn't come up with the nickname. It was used against her in her Senate bid.

He should shock everyone and actually engage her in a substantive discussion... assuming of course that he is even capable of such a thing.

Elizabeth Warren is not a citizen of the Cherokee Nation.
Elizabeth Warren is not enrolled in the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
And Elizabeth Warren is not one of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee.
Nor could she become one, even if she wanted to.

MSgt (Join to see) - Context, people make mistakes... many far more serious than thinking your part Cherokee. Divorce being the perfect example.
CSM Charles Hayden - She thought she was Cherokee, she may have been wrong... she thought she was going be married to someone for the rest of her days, she was definitely wrong... all any of that does is prove she's human. You can make a big deal out of a mistake if you want, but then be sure to hold your own up to that very same standard.

When Sen Warren admits to not having any Native American bloodline, please advise me. That horse might be dead by now!

Yes, and some have been ridiculed for much less and pressured to leave office. For example Trent Lott for his comments regarding Strom Thurmond's presidential candidacy. But then again there are different rules for certain people. Like Charles Rangel where the Ethics Committee found Rangel guilty of 11 counts of violating House ethics rules. And his failures to comply with tax laws. Thanks, point taken.

MSgt (Join to see) - I'm not going to defend Trent Lott or Charles Rangel, I'm just saying she made a mistake by making a claim that can't be proven. That doesn't mean it's correct, it doesn't mean it's incorrect. How many families out there have a relative who they believe was American Indian, but can't prove membership in any tribe?
