Chicago is out of control. Should he just turn a blind eye like Obama did for the past 8 years?

Citizens of Chicago, also US Citizens, are being killed at record levels and have been for years now. The city of Chicago and the state of Illinois have not stemmed the flow of blood. Citizens in Chicago cannot even protect themselves as it is illegal for law abiding citizens to own a gun.
Perhaps the mere threat of the feds engaging will cause Raum to do something. If it does, you might ask yourself why he hadn't acted more firmly much earlier.
People are being denied the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in Chicago because they are not safe to walk the streets, to go to work, to go to school etc because the criminal element have taken over some areas of the city.
How many people have to die before someone tries something to protect them and ensure they are safe. Are some of you really suggesting we stay the course there? We just keep stacking the bodies up because Raum is a democrat and Trump is a Republican?

On one hand he says everyone has the right to carry and own guns of any type, then he says he wants to implement a stop and frisk policy. How does that work?

By law, Citizens of Chicago are unarmed & defenseless. Criminals consider such a city a "free fire zone" -- state & local governments are apparently unable or unwilling to address the problem, making Chicago an unsafe city. Clearly, this represents a failure of state & local governments. It's time for Chicago's Citizens to take charge & take action.

I don't understand your point. You are comparing apples and oranges. 2nd amendment gives us the right to bear arms. . Stop and frisk has nothing to do with that.

Yet nobody has to date promoted carrying stolen or illegally obtained guns. It works the same way when your driving a car that does not belong to you that the owner of the car did not authorize you to drive. The concept might be new to you or you might have forgot it in the last 8 years but Republicans call this "Enforcing the laws on the books already".

MAJ Andrew Ready - who are you going to stop and frisk? someone who looks like a bad guy, and person carrying a legal weapon? Twit ter in chief says EVERYONE has the right to carry any weapon. so who are you going to arrest in stop and frisk.. Both are rules he wants to put into place!
