It is Hilarious, especially the timing of it. Personally not sure why congressional leaders get to fly around the globe on our dollar any way.

Yeah, some of their 'fact finding' trips are highly suspicious. They should have to fly coach on commercial airline. They think they are so elite and special but not to me.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr if you don't recall the military works for the Commander In Chief. No sitting member of Congress has any right to a military flight. Also, you are incorrect about the Speaker Of the House, she is protected by Capital Police.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr There's part of the US code that says US representatives on special missions abroad....but it appears she would no longer be traveling on a special mission....

Also, it doesn't have to be official business for the first family to travel. Andrews to Palm Beach is a lot cheaper than Andrews to Honolulu. Also, since you are so concerned about fiscal responsibility, I checked your recent posts and was disappointed that I didnt see any posts about the 30 Democrats and 109 lobbyists partying in Puerto Rico during the shutdown.

I digress.....here's the reference doc.
