I don't blame the student here. The rules are what they are and they're being followed. But this shows just how ludicrous our society has become. Society is screaming "We're all equal. There are no differences". But everyone, including the student it seems, can open our eyes and see the glaring differences. Pretending they aren't there is no different than 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.
I honestly don't understand all the nuances of the transgendered so I'll hold off on commenting about those specifics but anyone who thinks we're all equal in every way is living with their head in the sand.

SN Greg Wright - No matter what the policy, people are going to be unhappy. Least with the existing policy, it is black and white going into the match. If he is still a she down below, do meds and a 'feeling' really change the gender or is it just a girl on banned substances taking advantage of the system and other girls? What is to stop other girls from saying they want to be boys and start taking the same meds to get ahead?

MAJ Byron Oyler - I believe in this case the student is a he with natural male levels of testosterone. He "identifies" as a girl so he's wrestling girls. But biologically speaking I believe he still male. SN Greg Wright if that's wrong please correct.

MAJ (Join to see) - It's a girl taking testosterone in an effort to be a boy. She's wrestling girls because the state won't let her wrestle boys, but she has the absolute advantage of the testosterone over other girls, so she's winning everything.

SN Greg Wright - Oh, I gotcha. I misread it then. I still think it's an unfair advantage. Didn't East Germany get banned from the Olympics back in the day for giving their female athletes testosterone? I guess we've "evolved" now.

I can see both sides and the "problem" is that it is very complex and neither side would be happy with an outcome. I'm only commenting because I think it cowardly and BS that someone would give you a down vote without even adding to the discussion. But, that's typical.

SSgt Ray Stone Is RP's resident hater of all things. I am completely unsurprised (and unbothered) that he did a drive-by. It's what he does.

If the human body has a X and Y chromosomes, it will be male. If two X's, female body.
If I feel I am a General, that does not make it so. Even if I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
If you want to believe you are a guy and you are a girl, go ahead. But, that only makes you a guy in your own mind.
It works the other way too. But, if you wear a dress and are a guy, please have the decency to shave your legs, chest and back hair. It's improper etiquette not to do so.
Now, what are the parameters for make-up? I did wear green and black face paint a few times. But, the SSgt just rolled his eyes and walked off shaking his head.

She's doping. How is that fair? Only in East Germany and Russia is that fair.

A slight Injustice is warranted? What's next? A big Injustice?
Do you think she should be allowed to wrestle in the male League?

My problem? You don't think a female taking testosterone so she can feel more manly is the issue?
If she stopped taking testosterone, wouldn't her body produce more estrogen, progestogen...? Then, she would feel more like a women. Right?
