Sgt.,

I read on Debkafile, the Iranian militias are leading the way on this one. If true, it brings up some interesting questions.

Have a great day,

SGT (Join to see) - Sgt,
Both of my Gunnery Sgts had two tours in Vietnam. They were very nice until they got POed.

Cpl Mark A. Morris, That's what I tell people, but I've been that way since childhood. Vietnam just reinforces more.

Thank you Keith, on my deployment in 2010-2011 I was able to see this unit do a demonstration for higher ups and we where there to discuses some transition turn over of facilities. The problem is the unit is small and they are vetted pretty well and you only have so many of them. They did a MOUT/CQB demonstration, with some CAS on their way out. Extremely well trained. I hope they took care of that training facility but I don't think so, we did our best to manage the contracts but after we pulled out, don't think the management of them was a big deal with them. You can't stay elite if you don't have the training sites to do it.

On a side note, it sucks seeing all the good work we did in Fallujah and some of the grate work we did and blood and treasure lost not just their but in that province that took us so long to fix sucks.

CPO (Join to see), In Nam, we were staging for a large air assault at a Korean AO. There was a mountain behind us, and the ROK's COMcame down to tell our CO about some NVA on top of the mountain. He was going to send a squad through our perimeter at 1800. At 1800, two ROK Special Forces troops came through our perimeter and left the compound. About 0200, a war broke out on the mountain. It lasted 5 or 10 minutes as best I can recall. At daylight the next morning here came the two ROK's. Their CO came back and told our CO that all of them were killed. I was in awe how badass they were. They hated the VC and the NVA, and the feelings were mutual with the VC and NVA.

SGT (Join to see) - ROK's are defiantly badass. Was in Korea for Team Sprit on my first deployment and we worked on the ROK' bases and would see them train wow.... That is all I will say. These Iraqis were trained by some of our best SOF troops and they are high speed. I was amazed when I saw them conduct the training display. The problem is the vetting takes them sometime the MITT teams hand picked all of them.
