When I was stationed in Hawaii (68 to 71) the state was hard up for teachers and scoured the nation recruiting them with promises of the highest starting salary for recent graduates with teaching credentials. Who could resist high wages and living in paradise? Sadly, when they arrived, these freshly minted teachers discovered that their wages weren't sufficient to cover the cost of living there and quickly left. It's an important consideration when accepting a position that will require relocation to a different state. Keep this in mind when you receive offers

The Topic of Strongholds of any party are very distressing sense for the first time in my history ie. short life so far I have never seen the MEDIA OPENLY TAKE THE SIDE OF ONE PARTY!!!! What is more interesting is how on my recent trip back to Vietnam 52yr's later was seeing the Tragic Similarities between how CALIFORNIA is RUN much like Vietnam! With mostly ALL DEMOCRATS running ALL THE DEPARTMENTS from City County and State! There is not much that ever changes for the BETTER of the PEOPLE!!! Problem solving also becomes much more difficult BECAUSE THERE IS GROUP THINK! They all have the same or similar ideas! Challenging! BUT THE CUP IS ALWAYS HALF FULL!

Here in Los Angeles the LAUSD has been Heading Down the Tubes for over 35-40 years! The DEMOCRATS took over and well it has never been the same! The older teachers retired when they saw what was being done to the system! Like if there was something wrong in one area they would say we need to CHANGE the whole area! Like in requiring Physical Education! They told their DEMOCRATIC Voters they would develop something BETTER NOT!!!! Then with the rampant sexual abuse from ELEMENTRY through High School is SHOUCKING because it happens ever so often! The WHY does it keep coming up again and again is partly the cause of the LATEACHERS UNION!!!! As I found in a LA Times article they protect the Teachers much more than the students! Both need to be taken care of! Charters I am hoping will take over and set up a School System that will work for the Children/Students and that the UNION will be forced to reorganize for the SAFETY of the students!!!
