I would suggest that a man like Trump is exactly the kind of man the founding fathers wanted as a president. A man who wasn't a career politician, a man who had the best interests of the country at heart, a man who had a stake in the future of the country, and a man who would go back to being an ordinary citizen after his term in office.

I agree with you. I think that was what they intended. They did not intend for us to have a "class" of career politicians whose only job was governing and I think they would be horrified by what they saw.
And I have long said that the Democrats project their fears and their bad behavior onto the Republicans...it's amazing to see over and over, how the accusations turn out to be admissions of wrongdoing on the part of the Democrats.
