Memories of Capt Ray Wallace! I Should Probably be Nice to Him since He did Give Me a Meritorious Capt's Mast (Yeah in the Navy there is Such Thing as a Good Article 15). He was "Special"! A Whack Job would Probably be More Honest and Accurate. He did Love Firing a Grenade Launcher Off the Fantail Though. Last Time I Heard He was US Navy Liaison Officer at the US Embassy in India.

Our squad humped M203’s in the bush in Nam. The M79’s were used on firebases along with your 16. I used to get a case of rounds and bloop all night. Got good at it and it was encouraged for harrasing fire. One time we got CS Rounds along with Lumes. I saw a accident waiting to happen. Color code similar. Then it happened. Dude thinking he was firing a lume, but it was a CS. Straight up and straight down. A lot of puking going on.
