The left hates liberty, but they love guns!

I have a couple of problems with this narrative first of all how would they determine what gun owners are republican or Democrats liberal or conservative I don't remember ever seeing a question on the atf form asking about my party affiliation or my political leanings they can't go off of social media because I know Democrats who are big gun nuts and believe in the second amendment and will fight to keep it. Second as seen by multiple polls of their constituents most people think these gun confiscation plans are ludicrous. And last yes they may have guns but the big question is do they know how to employ them in effective combat
