Long, long ago in "True" magazine (many years out of publication) I read an article about the "shade tree gunsmiths" of Afghanistan. They could copy any gun they got their hands on, with only a charcoal furnace, and hand tools. Their usual supply of steel for that backwoods arms industry was railroad track.
Ammo was also duplicated. The smokeless gun powder was largely supplied by the nitrocellulose of movie film, sold as scrap. Who knows how many classic films went up in smokeless gunfire.

CPT Jack Durish the underground arms sales around the world would astound most. There was a PBS special not long ago about the gun sales in Chicago, I imagine that is the 2nd Amendment were repealed, most major cities would be much the same.

It most certainly would come to pass and I would support it 100%. Prohibitions on guns will work as well as it did with alcohol and as it has on drugs.
