An old neighbor of mine from when I was growing up was in the Great War, said that he got hit with mustard gas, and had to come home, he worked on one of the ranches out west that the government had at the time MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.

Phosgene is also produced as a component of welding fumes when metal that’s been cleaned with a chlorine based solvent or degreaser (brake cleaner is the usual culprit).

Ooo, ouch. I can see that being easy to do. I’ve cleaned metal with brake cleaner in the past, didn’t think that there was residue.
