Good “Easter Sunday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the Sunny Easter skies of SW Florida! Wishing you and yours a very Happy Easter...

It is "Risen Day" and so we give thanks and praise...

"1 Peter 1:3: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

“Easter is a time when God turned the inevitability of death into the invincibility of life.” ― Craig D. Lounsbrough

"God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ‘I love you.’ " – Billy Graham

"Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus." – Romans 6:8-11

In a different context...

"Each Warrior wants to leave the mark of his will, his signature, on important acts he touches. This is not the voice of ego but of the human spirit, rising up and declaring that it has something to contribute to the solution of the hardest problems, no matter how vexing!" - Pat Riley

"Freedom only comes through persistent revolt, through persistent agitation, through persistently rising up against the system of evil." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Know this my Brothers and Sisters...

“As a Leader prepare your heart by expressing gratitude for the truth that God Loves you deeply and chose you to lead; that through humility you get to be part of such a grand story of eternity; and give compassion for those that have not experienced what you will know.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that you and each person you love have been blessed on Eastern Sunday 2021. I expect you have a deep appreciation for the resurrection of Jesus the Christ WHO is first born in precedence as well as in time and space. I pray that you and I continue to place our hope in the atonement of the Christ and HIS resurrection. 'But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.' [1 Corinthians 15:20-23 ESV] my brother-in-Christ Sgt (Join to see).

I pray for an increase of the fruit love, peace, and gentleness for each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads or listens to this prayer. LORD YOU demonstrated selfless love throughout YOUR walk on earth and most poignantly through YOUR atonement on the Cross. I pray that YOU cleanse each of us from all dross which inhibits YOUR light and love shining through us. Use each of us to demonstrate love to whomever YOU guide us towards. 'For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' [Romans 5:7-8 ESV]
No doubt you like I hope for the second coming of the LORD while praying HE delays until each of our loved ones that we have earnestly prayed for will acknowledge their need for salvation. This has been the hope of brothers and sisters in Christ since the risen Christ rose to the Father and the Holy Spirit came to dwell with the soul of each adopted child of God. ‘For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.’ [Philippians 1:21-24 ESV]
I lift widows, widowers, prisoners, those suffering from PTSD and other mental issues, those abused by church officials, and each other maligned individual to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU pour out a large and enduring measure of love to each one. I pray that YOU guide each one to lift their burden to YOU as YOU replace their burdens with YOUR perfect burden and abundant hope. Motivate trustworthy individuals who are great listeners to come alongside those in dire need of human companionship. 'When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.’ [Psalm 34:17-18 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Easter Sunday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good Sunday morning Col Burroughs and Posse and Happy Easter. It is also the last day of Passover which ends at sundown tonight.
Regardless of what your faith is, now is the time to practice it. We all need the strength we get from our belief that there is someone who cares about us all through our lives to the end and beyond. That is worth fighting for and making sure we leave that same opportunity to our children and their children.

Good "Easter Sunday" morning to you as well LTC Greg Henning - have a blessed day and peace be with you brother...

Let’s “Remember Everyone Deployed” on this Easter Sunday and continue to pray for their safe return as we celebrate the day He has Risen. Here is a quote for all those leaders of today and the future…

‘As a Leader prepare your heart by expressing gratitude for the truth that God Loves you deeply and chose you to lead; that through humility you get to be part of such a grand story of eternity; and give compassion for those that have not experienced what you will know.’ — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

May you celebrate this day He has Risen with your family, your friends, or quietly on your own; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Peace be with you! — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
