Or make change as a cashier after graduating with their Student Loan financed degree in the subject they liove so much! Today’s generation needs to learn to embrace the SUCK!

That's the worst of it. There is nothing that aggravates me more than giving correct change to a cashier and having them look at it like I just dropped a beetle in their hand.

SSgt Ryan Sylvester - AMEN...I was at Lowes one day after a severe storm needing a handful of bolts. I grabbed the bolts (4) put them in the bag and labeled how many I had, went to the cashier and she had to get a calculator to figure out how much I owed then calculated the tax, the used the calculator to add them together, then I paid her and she used the calculator to figure up my change...I was flabbergasted!!!!

It is pretty sad the lack of reading ability of some people. Their education lacks a lot for other areas also including History, Geography, handwriting subjects such as Home economics, wood or metal shop. School used to prepare people not just for college but for life. None of this has a positive effect and is in fact disgraceful that any student should no longer have these basic life skills. As CSM Hayden pointed out they can't even make change as a cashier, great esp as on many orders I already know what change I should be receiving. Cash and handling coins seems to confuse them esp if they have to figure it out themselves.

CSM Charles Hayden - Seems all to often there are college Professors that shove their garbage down everyone's throat and there is no two way communication. Often these people have never been in the working force or military and have no concept of the real world. Their entire world is their brand of education which is nothing but books, No actual background in many cases. I happy to say I never had a Professor like that Myself and actually where I went to college the on Campus Army ROTC participates in almost all the the University functions and the school is very pro veteran. Not all schools are like that and these days less and less it seems. The negative impact they have had on many of their students and the attitudes they indoctrinated the young decendants in our families with is Deplorable !
