Great video and song SP5 Mark Kuzinski . I think one of the great benefits of military service is you get to see the world...not the glamorous and glorified story of the world; but the real world. You find out that most of the world doesn't have water, electricity, etc. Ice is precious and only the wealthy have it in any abundance. If your service didn't provide a perspective of how fortunate even the poor are in this country compared to the rest of the world (not an excuse not to address poverty at home), you travelled with your eyes shut. Thanks for the share Kaz!

I remember the waste gutters on every residential street in Japan. They are a great, enlightened people who consider life a little less precious than the West but I admire their respect for the elders plus the traditions they make.

Good evening back at you, Mark. It is a cool 27 here in Glendive, Montana, and there is a hint of coming snow in the air. There are always many more things to give thanks for than to be indifferent. Every life has love, grace all around, and the beauty of the earth all around is breathe taking. Consider one fact: the same God who controls all things after the counsel of His will binds grace all around His elected people, the Church who are Christ’s body on earth, adding light to the darkness of this age.
