It's sad, tragic really that it happened to a vet. However, I'm not angry because the article doesn't mention that the vet was targeted for the vandalism because he is a vet. That would go beyond tragic... and deserve special "consideration"

An appropriate punishment would be for him to have to work for a determined time to assist that Veteran in that same home.
