Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened and likely won't be the last. At least we don't have "someone" in the District of Calamity dictating school lunch menus anymore...

Most definitely...I've read of instances where what parents gave were genuinely wrong, from articles I'd read, or, if nothing else, inadequate...however, such instances are, thankfully, quite clearly,extremely rare, and, in this case, the interference involved was quite equally manifestly and totally wrong, to my way of thinking....

You know, there's a limit where such things quite clearly have to stop, where such intrusions are beyond societally unacceptable...that is, at least to me, quite clearly most definitely one such instance...what parents have a kid eat, aside from something monumentally grotesque, which that quite evidently wasn't, is absolutely none of the school's business, at least in my view...there should be absolutely zero right to such interference, and I quite frankly find that level of sheer "buttinski-ism", if you will, totally and completely appalling....

If that'd been done to myself or my brothers, when I'd been a kid, my parents would most certainly have been absolutely up in arms about it, most definitely...that was completely and totally egregious interference, to my way of thinking, no two ways about it, cut and dry, that is it, QED, finis....
