My father and his brothers during their military high school days at St Thomas Academy.

My father passed away in 1992. My Uncle Pat wearing the garrison cap on the left passed away in 2012. My Uncle Edward was now about 94 years old it's still alive and he is left in my father in the picture both wearing the saucer cap.

The white star on the right sleeve of His uniform jacket also showed they were an Army ROTC Honor School. As a Cadet at Bordentown Military Institute, Bordentown, NJ We were also and Army ROTC Honor school and I had that white star also on the right sleeve of My uniform. In the picture here I'm the Cadet on the right at eyes right during a parade and notice the white star on the right lower sleeve of some of the Cadet that can be viewed here. We also wore that same Army ROTC shoulder patch on the left side. As an Army ROTC Honor School they could actually themselves appoint three Cadets in each Senior Class to attend a US Service Academy. At BMI there were always Cadet going on to West Point and Army careers.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter it's strange that they still wore the ROTC Legacy patch even though they lost their accreditation for a direct Commission in the US Army active duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard.

I'm sure it made my father think back of his St Thomas Academy days.

Yes, Taps was filmed at Valley Force Military Academy and College. ( Prep school and two year Junior College) I had been a Cadet Myself at Bordentown Military Institute in Bordentown, NJ. Like Valley Forge We had a program in Army ROTC. We also played against Valley Forge in many of our sports. The picture here is one that had been taken there during my Cadet Days at BMI.

I just didn't like that he didn't know how to salute even though he did 4 years active duty. Aside from that, excellent
