SrA John Monette - Taiwan does have a lot of friends, but China has a lot of nuclear bombs.... China thinks Taiwan belongs to them, if they try to take it, one would have to wonder how far to stick one's neck out for somebody way over yonder. Hopefully China will back off, but if China attacks Taiwan, even if Biden wanted in on the action, Congress would most likely put a halt on that... I don't know, like you say, Taiwan has friends, not necessarily allies.. as far as I know, we are under no military agreement to help them, and we were in Ukraine, and still didn't put boots on the ground... China and Russia have just as many, if not more nukes than we have.... Taiwan and Russia's crown jewel are right at there back door... we have to be careful messing around at their back door.... I'm just guessing!!!
