Statue of Lewis & Clark and Sacagawea toppled in Charlottesville

The idiots on the progressive left side are going nuts! In 1803, France sold the United States a large piece of land stretching from Louisiana almost all the way to the coast of Washington and Oregon.

These explorers went into these territories that were barely explored by the French and the Spanish. They brought along Sacagawea because she was native and spoke some of the languages. They brought along her baby as well.

I took a semester of the Lewis and Clark expedition 1803-1805 in school and I'm reading books about it now. My Unit is in Washington State and many locations are named after the explorers. Had they not had Sacagawea, the Indian tribes would have considered the Lewis and Clark expedition hostile and they would have attacked them and wipe them out!

I bought the book Lewis and Clark, The Journey of the Corps of Discovery by Dayton Duncan and Ken Burns. Ken Burns has a PBS series.

We have Fort Lewis, Clark County and other names in honor of this expedition. Some say to me here saying I am dumb saying there is no cancel culture, Well I honestly disagree and if you call me racist, that is on you using your Article 134/catch-all phrase of the left.
Today, the leftist goons are getting rid of a statue that is not racist at all. I don't know what this world is coming to but I can't wait until the midterm elections! It is happening on a Campus that once was the place of exchanging ideas instead of indoctrination.

Shaking my head! We also have a Sacagawea 1 dollar coin. It may not be used in the USA much but it is in El Salvador. They use the US dollar there and my Native Wife was fascinated seeing this coin.
