That seems very strange SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that a remotely based combat drone pilot can now log combat time [which I assume means getting combat pay commensurate with the recorded time] for overseas flights.
For one thing I am glad they can not get combat time for domestic flights :-)
Disclaimer: a good friend of mine does this for an unnamed agency.

They are participating in Combat so clinically, technically they are due Combat Pay. Are they in Physical Danger no. Emotional Problems? from what I am hearing they Cameras are excellent and it is deeply up-close and personal what they see.

The pilots on the ground in America fly and bombing suffer (I assume) the same possible psyc issues from pulling that trigger. Is there a special designator for flight time drone to actual overhead pilot?
I don't know much about the aviation world, I just know that sweet sweet sound of brrrrt and other combat support overhead.
