I'm just going to put this out there.

GEN Hokanson has a problem with this mission. But had zero problem with Guardsmen being activated during the pandemic working for hospitals doing lawncare, laundry, and other menial tasks. I believe his stance is a political one and he's just being a good little democrat.

And one more descriptor, hypocrite.

I've met him when he was the Brigade commander for Oregon's 41st Infantry Brigade. He was Oregon's Adjutant General for a somewhat brief time too. He left when he got his third star.

I think if they would let the guardsmen do what they're supposed to do, it would be a different story Brother Dale. I'm sure they would get plenty of military value out of their deployment.

I agree. Border work really isn't a Guard mission.
