There is nothing like on-the-job training, as long as you make it as realistic as possible Brother Dale. It sounds like this is putting training from 60 years ago to shame. (Damn, it's been that long? [1966])

I have mentioned in the past posts (probably ad nauseum) I was a patrolling instructor at Ft Polk back in 1967/68 tried my best to give the trainees all the lessons we learned in the boonies,hoped those tips gave them a better chance to survive that terrible green place Welcome Home Brothers.
