Click bait. The only way she could rock the Senate would be by falling out of her chair

CPT Jack DurishSir you know I respect your your opinions although I often disagree with them but I believe strongly that you crossed the line with your comment about Senator Duckworth.

Knew you would in here defending a draft dodger and bashing a war veteran. Your fuhrer disrespects veterans so his followers feel they have to do the same. You don't have your own mind?

Just because we don't like his personal style doesn't mean he isn't doing what's needed. And I will refrain from comment on Ms Duckworth. Her opinions are the same as her vote. It counts once.

I was at Landstuhl Nov 13 2004 and have watched her for many years. Someday I was hoping to meet her however these attacks on the President have become predictable and I am not certain I can keep the nurse and politics separate. The Democrats were angry with the death of the Iranian in Baghdad and now they are angry with 'all is well." I never thought I would see the day when one of our own would be so disrespectful to a sitting President. Sad.

And opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and hers reaks of leftist ideology.

MAJ Byron Oyler - “ I never thought I would see the day when one of our own would be so disrespectful to a sitting President. Sad.”. Really?

Opponents to President Obama were fairly awful to him. Their attacks were usually personal, mean and not opposed to policy. An excellent example is the birther, ‘he’s not American!’, nonsense.

Well, the next generation below me, my kids and those of my 5 brothers, are aging out of the military, but we have a couple already from the following one. In all three generation groups, the support for him is strong. Like me, they may think he's an arrogant jerk, but he's put the country back to work, is working to keep unskilled illegal labor from lowering wages, and most importantly is not rolling over for stuff like Iran seizing our sailors or unruly crowds storming our embassies, all with no consequences for the perpetrators.

Course, we're just dumb old country boys, but there you are.

However, Obama's money gifts to a financially broke Iran allowed them to buy the missiles. It is a fact. Pace yourself, now, you still have five more years of Trump hating to get through, hopefully without blowing a head gasket or swallowing a valve. Decaf may help.

Goodness.! Proving yet again there are none so blind as those who will not see.

This is NOT part of the $150 billion released from frozen bank accounts by the ending of sanctions, this was pallet loads of cash sent over on military planes. By the by, this is from a newspaper with a liberal editorial policy.

1SG Steven Imerman - You're right it isn't from a frozen bank account, but is also WAS NOT a gift. From the LA Times article you cited: "The $1.7 billion was the settlement of a decades-old arbitration claim between the U.S. and Iran. An initial $400 million of euros, Swiss francs and other foreign currency was delivered on pallets."
