A senior Russian diplomat wouldn't rule out the possibility of his country placing military infrastructure in Cuba or Venezuela, as the Kremlin called two recent rounds of talks with the U.S. and NATO "unsuccessful." Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, who led negotiations with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in Geneva this week, said Thursday that he didn't want "to confirm anything, [but] won't exclude anything here either," when asked whether Russia might consider establishing a military presence in America's backyard.

Here we go, history repeating itself, will we set up a blockade? This country keeps placing itself in a negative state on the global stage. Our pettiness within is being viewed by the world, it’s kind of raining a kid in two households with very different structure and values, the parents working against each other instead of uniting for the sake of the children.
We were once sought out for support and guidance, now we are being openly mocked with little to no retort. We need to stand United in the face of
tyrannic behavior and actions. While Russian weapons and troops on our neighbors soil is of little threat, symbolically we are the weaker of the two and will be judged that why by the world.
What ever happened to the planned strategy behind a presidential stance. The two sides of government quickly meet, add and take away from the speach, the President delivers it to the world and the people, then both parties stand at the podium shortly after stating their support for the Presidents action.
