Amazing photo! It's a whole different battlefield from the vantage point.

SGT Mary G. Those are all paintings. @LTC John (Jack) Christensen flew B-52s and said they were always at least a mile apart. The artist clearly took some liberties in order to give more context.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Thanks. It did seem odd the B-52s were so close together. Calculating hitting the target must have been a feat - given the variables. The view of Hanoi from the air seems so remote.

"Linebacker" got the North Vietnamese to the peace talk tables.

I grew up admiring WW2 and Korea vets, but Vietnam vets are my heroes. I watched several of my Dad's Marine Reserve unit depart for service in Vietnam. I remember their faces when they returned!
